Description

Cruising into Storm Bay, we reach Betsey Island. This uninhabited island is home to a variety of seabirds, including gulls, cormorants, and the majestic white-bellied sea eagle. As we circumnavigate Betsey Island, Hope Beach comes into view. This isolated beach is known for its large breaks and offshore winds. We cruise close to the shore and feel the swell surging straight from the Southern Ocean; these conditions make this a favorite spot with local surfers. After 2 hours and a half on the water, you'll return to Hobart refreshed, with a newfound appreciation for this beautiful harbor city.
