Embark on this half-day tour of Rio de Janeiro with a tour guide.
It's a 4-hour visit to the city's main landmarks and highlights. We pick you up from your hotel in the morning. We take you to see Corcovado and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. We took the minivan up the Paineiras route. The 20-minute drive to the base of the statue takes you through the Tijuca Forest and offers a preview of the landscapes we'll see next. The statue is 710 meters high, which gives you a panoramic view of the city. We continue on and stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral and the traditional Selarón Staircase. We NEXT stopped at the Sambódromo and the Maracanã Stadium to take some photos outside. Around lunchtime, we'll take you back to your hotel.
